Reason 25 - Benidorm Island/Peacock Island
If you’re ever in Benidorm, make sure to hop on a boat and head over to Benidorm Island. It’s one of my favorite spots—a little slice of paradise just a short ride from the city. Every time I visit, I fall in love with it all over again.
The island is small, but that’s part of its appeal. The water around it is crystal clear, perfect for and the mini glass bottomed submarine there allows some great views of our fishy friends!
One of the highlights of Benidorm Island for me is the little restaurant there. It’s the kind of place that feels like a well-kept secret. They serve some of the freshest seafood you’ll ever taste, and their paella is simply amazing. There’s something special about enjoying a delicious meal with the sound of the waves in the background.
For those who like a bit of adventure, the island’s trails offer a nice hike with stunning views of the Mediterranean and the Benidorm skyline. But what really sets Benidorm Island apart is the tranquility. It’s the perfect place to escape the hustle of the city, relax, and soak in nature. Every visit is like a mini retreat, and I can’t recommend it enough.
