Reason 29 - Aqualandia

Why Aqualandia is a Must-Visit for Our Family in Benidorm

Every time we visit Benidorm, Aqualandia is high on our list of things to do. With three energetic boys to keep entertained, a water park filled with slides, pools, and adventure is the perfect way to spend a day. But Aqualandia isn’t just for the kids—my wife and I love it just as much! Whether it’s racing down the slides, floating along the lazy river, or just soaking up the sun, Aqualandia has something for all of us.

Thrill Rides and Family Fun

Our boys are fearless when it comes to water slides, and Aqualandia delivers plenty of heart-pounding action. The Verti-Go slides are the ultimate test of bravery—standing at a dizzying height, these slides send you plummeting down at lightning speed. I’ll admit, the first time I tried it, my heart was racing! But after that initial drop, it became one of my favorite rides.

For a slightly less extreme thrill, we love the Big Bang and Black Hole, both of which offer twists, turns, and plenty of excitement. The boys can never get enough, and I think they secretly enjoy watching me struggle to keep up with their endless energy.

But it’s not all high-speed action. Aqualandia has plenty of family-friendly attractions too. The Amazonas lazy river is perfect when we need to slow things down, and we all love floating along, letting the gentle current do the work. The wave pool is another family favorite, giving us the fun of the ocean without the worry of strong tides.

A Safe and Relaxing Day Out

One of the things I really appreciate about Aqualandia is how well-maintained and safe everything is. The lifeguards are always attentive, and there are plenty of shaded areas where we can take a break from the sun. My wife and I always make sure to set up a little base with our towels and bags so we have a spot to relax in between all the excitement.

There are also great food options inside the park, which is a lifesaver when the boys inevitably get hungry after hours of racing around. We usually grab some burgers or sandwiches, and of course, we have to stop for an ice cream break at some point!

Aqualandia: A Day to Remember

By the time we leave Aqualandia, we’re all exhausted but happy. The boys love recounting their favorite moments from the day, whether it’s conquering a new slide or watching Dad wipe out spectacularly. For us, Aqualandia isn’t just a water park—it’s a place where we make some of our best holiday memories.

If you’re visiting Benidorm, I can’t recommend Aqualandia enough. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a family looking for fun, or just someone who loves the water, this park has it all. Just be prepared to hear “Can we go again tomorrow?” from the kids as soon as you leave!
