Reason 28 - The Indoor market

During our family’s trips to Benidorm, one spot we always make time for is the Benidorm Indoor Market. It’s become more than just a shopping destination for us—it’s a vibrant, bustling hub that perfectly captures the local flavor and charm. From the moment we step inside, we know we’re in for an enjoyable experience. Here’s why the Benidorm Indoor Market has become such a cherished part of our travels.

As soon as we enter the Benidorm Indoor Market, we’re greeted by a lively atmosphere that’s hard to resist. The buzz of activity, the colorful displays, and the friendly chatter of vendors make it a fun and engaging place to visit. My wife and I love how the market feels alive with energy, and our three sons are always excited to explore the different stalls and see what catches their eye.

The market is well-organized, with distinct sections for various goods, which makes it easy for us to navigate and find what we’re looking for. Whether we’re on a mission to pick up some fresh produce or just enjoying the sights and sounds, it’s always a great way to spend a morning or afternoon.

One of the highlights of our visits to the market is the incredible selection of fresh produce. We always make a beeline for the fruit and vegetable stalls, where the colorful displays of juicy oranges, sweet strawberries, and crisp vegetables never fail to impress. The boys love picking out their favorite fruits, and it’s a great way to get them involved in our meals.

We also enjoy exploring the stalls that offer local delicacies. The **jamón ibérico** and **chorizo** are always a hit with us, and they make for fantastic snacks or additions to our meals back at our accommodation. The cheese and seafood sections are equally impressive, and we love trying out new things we might not find back home.

One of the fun aspects of the Benidorm Indoor Market is hunting for unique souvenirs and gifts. We always find something special to bring home, whether it’s a beautifully crafted ceramic piece or a bottle of local olive oil. The boys enjoy picking out small gifts or treats, and it’s a nice way to remember our trip.

Visiting the Benidorm Indoor Market is a highlight for our whole family. The vibrant atmosphere and variety of stalls make it an engaging experience for us all. The boys are always fascinated by the different foods and enjoy trying samples, while my wife and I appreciate the chance to explore and pick out some local goodies.

We usually plan our visit around lunchtime so we can enjoy a meal at one of the market’s food stalls. Whether it’s a tasty **bocadillo** (Spanish sandwich) or some freshly made **paella**, it’s a delicious way to savor the local cuisine in a casual and relaxed setting.

For our family, the Benidorm Indoor Market is more than just a place to shop—it’s a vibrant, fun-filled experience that adds a special touch to our trip. The fresh produce, unique finds, and lively atmosphere make it a must-visit, and it’s a place we look forward to every time we’re in Benidorm.

If you’re planning a visit to Benidorm, I highly recommend stopping by the indoor market. It’s a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the local culture, discover some delicious foods, and enjoy a memorable outing with the family.
